Kevin Wood - Consultant
Kevin is an
experienced Sales & Marketing professional with a
strong track record of over achievement and
professional delivery. As both a manager and
individual contributor planning, creativity &
execution have played key roles in producing the
success. Kevin has held Senior Sales and Sales
Management positions with Digital Equipment and Sun
Microsystems selling into a number of industry
vertical sectors. These roles have covered major
account management, strategic new business and
channel management. For the past 7 years Kevin has
worked as a consultant with many major IT
companies.
Kevin is ideally suited to assignments involving:
- Definition & introduction of effective and efficient sales process
- Planning & organising
- Development of compelling ‘Value Propositions'
- Problem analysis, definition and the execution of creative practical solutions.
Many of Kevin's assignments have involved the building of the client's value proposition. Kevin has become particularly skilled in this area and developed a number of tools to support the proposition build.
Kevin has served on the Advisory Board of SWAIN [South West Area Investors Network] and has been the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of a National UK children's cancer charity [CLIC]. Kevin holds a degree in Mathematics.
